Eberlestock Briefcase

Eberlestock Combat Office Briefcase
This bag is another creative and resourceful Eberlestock creation at a great price. The briefcase is highly functional with high capacity, as expected. Materials are premium and rugged, all of the storage compartments are arranged thoughtfully, and it looks great. Most tactical briefcases have a tendency to more closely resemble a courier bag, but this bag provides the typical image more shooters would desire. This briefcase probably won't be used by the majority of attorneys or other civil professionals, but it is still a solid professional accessory that has already impressed many of my peers. The only thing I can pick on is the shoulder strap cushion, which will not easily slide along the strap, past the buckle into a more centered position (i.e. centered over the top of my shoulder rather than behind it). I typically carry it by the handles, so other potential customers may have more of an issue with this design choice.

Venture Gear Overwatch Shooting Glasses
I have used these shooting glasses at the range and elsewhere. The quality of materials has held up very well after many months and trips around, and they have not yet slipped off my face/head. The price point is also very attractive. No issues yet.

Bushnell Red Dot is Great
Written on Mar 15, 2017
This is a very good entry level-to-moderate grade optic for shooters to get used to pulling the trigger smoothly, as well as for anyone who can't see open sights without difficulty. The dot intensity is very simple to adjust, and the vertical/horizontal adjustments are accurate. The reticle dot matched very well with my laser bore sighter right out of the box. This will connect to virtually any top mount weaver/pic rail easily, and an adapter is worth the $20-30 if necessary. I hope to see this one last a while.

Great Spotter
Written on Feb 19, 2017
I bought this spotting scope to fit my Canon EOS as a telephoto lens (t-ring adapter separate), and to take to the range to sight in my rifle scopes, and it does a fine job with both.
It's not as powerful as a $2K dedicated lens from Canon, but this lens is more versatile. As a telephoto lens is great. I have taken great shots of the moon, even at higher azimuth when it's farther from the horizon and appears smaller.
As a sports optic, it performs just as well as spotting scopes of similar price. The image clarity at average distances is much better than the average $150 spotter, and the whole thing is built very well. I've had no trouble with alignment even after many uses, as it is a solid piece that can tolerate a lot of handling and transportation. I am confident it will last a long time.
The eyepieces are also modular. I can use the 32 mm and 12.5 mm lenses that were included, and other 1.25" lenses that give higher mag are available. Fixed and variable magnification lenses are widely available.
The one concern I hear about from other customers is the quality. Most people have not factored in the intended use and typically give a lower rating because it did not meet the results you would expect from a high-density, competition grade scope. This scope has a wide range of capability for the price. For higher mag and image quality, there are many spotting scopes and telescopes available, but they are much more expensive and have a narrower range of use. You get a lot o

Eberlestock H1 Mini-Me Hydration Backpack
Eberlestock has done it again with a more compact pack for hunters and outdoor aficionados. Besides a well built pack using the best materials, this backpack has storage and convenience strategically placed everywhere, but not so much to become a distraction.
Pros:
MOLLE straps everywhere you'd need them to make it modular, additional clips, straps, and anchors tucked away, yet accessible in the right places, and even hidden goodies like a stowaway meat carrier if you like to harvest your animal in the field. The expandable cenral compartment is a great way to insert a rifle scabbard if you need to walk and stalk hands free for an extended distance. I was worried this compartment would make everything unbalanced, but the designers made sure to add enough internal MOLLE anchors to accommodate any size gun. The hydration bladder/hose system is also very sturdy and mold resistant. The back padding is now onboard with some of the major backpacking pros that build well padded and ventilated back contact area. No more pulling of a sweat-soaked bag only to have to put it back on and continue to sweat when you resume your hike. The shoulder straps are size adjustable with plenty of anchors, straps, etc.
Cons:
Shoulder strap padding is not sufficient to handle the added weight of a gun or an unexpected heavy load. The pack can however take on a heavy load without breaking or tearing, which is a saving attribute in light of this shortcoming.
