I recently purchased a Savage 21 Sharp that came with a tac rail already mounted. This is somewhat problematic with mounts as it sits the objective lens up very high over the barrel, meaning you lose adjustment on the scope crosshairs. Bought this mount, which attachs directly to barrel, problem solved. Even with a 50mm objective, sits nice and low to barrel. Machining is topnotch, perfect screw alignment. AND best of all, Optics Planet is best value on the internet for this product.
