Nice product, however, if you drop a serious amount of rounds in a less than ample amount of time to allow for cooling, this thing will transfer heat. And it can get seriously hot. Common sense maybe, but I didn't really have that thought in mind when I bought it. For what it is though, it's quality made and feels solid.

No, Sig. This is lackluster.

Cutting right to the point. Packaging as mentioned earlier, you have to obliterate it to get the product out so good luck saving any of that. The light, to my great surprise, has no off switch. So if one actually wants to practice and shoot with their weapon in say an indoor or outdoor range while not using the light...then I guess you either deal with constantly having it on or remove the whole thing each session. That process in itself is not a simple one done without tools, either. I’ve got other weapons and lights, and I bought this against my better judgement on the ‘hope’ that Sig would have at least done basics such as an off switch built in. In reality, it doesn’t take the listed battery, there’s no way to switch brightness modes that I’ve found. In a SHTF or CCW in the dark alley situation then yeah, you’ll instinctively have a light. But practice with your CCW a few hours here and there, & you’ll also have a nice time removing the entire housing to constantly replace batteries which may or may not have that life left in them when you need them.
