Rail with the Archangel stock

I bought this for my Springfield M1a1 with an Archangel stock. Took a little less than an hour to install, after Duracoating it FDE to match the stock. Because it mounts to the rear sight attachment point, you lose the nice rear sights. The height of the rail requires a cheek riser. One of the nice things about it, is that my Krieger 24 in. match barrel runs much cooler, then with the stock hand guard. I also get 12,3,6 and 9 o'clock rails to mount whatever on. It does weigh in at 2 lbs. and changes the balance of the piece but that is a small price to pay, for a rock solid, scope mount, that you can actually drop and keep your zero.

LH Johnson bolt

So far the LH BCG has performed well. The only complaint is that the carrier is semi auto cut and I would prefer to have more material there. I use it in a .308 chambered rifle and it doesn't hurt to have the carrier, as solid as you can make it.

Good Buttstock

Fit and finish are very good and functions quite well, the only thing I would like on it is another QD point. For an SM-25 or LR-308 build with a low pro rail, the cheek piece, works like a champ. I have it matched up with a DPMS Gen 1 pattern LR-308, with a Primary Arms 1X8X24 Gen III scope and it is pretty comfortable.

EClipse trigger

I put the EClipse trigger group in my DPMS Gen 1 build and was very impressed with it. It is smooth and breaks like glass. They are going to be hard pressed to get trigger control any better than this.
