My wife spoils the dog and this is another vehicle for that. All our kids are out on their own so the dog gets a lot of attention. My wife is working on what treats and toys to put in it.
It is large with some kind of vinyl or plastic liner and seems really solidly made. Unfortunately dogs just don't live long enough so this will probably serve your current dog, and the next one and possibly the next.

It is crimson trace, have you ever heard anything bad about their products? I haven't and I have several of them. I bought two of these on black friday or cyber monday (whichever) and the price was right. These are top quality from what I can tell. I have only had them a couple weeks so no evaluation on endurance. I put one on my wife's raspberry SR-22 and she loves it. The other went on a 6.5 grendel that has a vortex scout scope (also from optics planet), the laser is mounted on the top rail and shoots just under the scout scope. It is slick and really handy for close up shots. I wish I had bought more.

I got my wife the pink camo version and she loves it. Mine is black.... These are large and appear to be well made. It should last as long as me. You could probably fit a full size 1911 or 44 mag revolver in it, definitely smaller pistols or revolvers. These are going up on the mantel soon. Merry Christmas.
