Great ankle support, appear to be well made, great lug sole for the desert environment of Southern Arizona.
Time will tell if they are durable.
I only rated them 4-Stars because it took weeks to receive them otherwise 5-Stars for a good product.
Couldn’t pass them up at the same price!

Nothing better for cleaning my Ruger Precision Rifle

Review for
Tipton Ultra Gun Vise
This Tipton product securely holds my Ruger PR at the perfect angle for cleaning.
I wasn’t sure how this vise would interact with the RPR folding stock but those concerns were immediately gone once I received the vise.
With the stock folded the pistol grip sits perfectly in the rear clamp and the hand guard rests in the front clamp.
The barrel is at the perfect angle to prevent solvent from running back into the action.
Soft feet to prevent marring my work surface and the clamps are rubber as to protect my weapon.

Compact, contains several tips, convenient carrying case, and fits in any range bag.
Don’t be that guy...carry your own tools!

Very Happy with the Mat!

Broke her in today!
I live in the desert so needless to say prone shooting requires a padded mat to protect the shooter from rocks and other things that like to poke or stick.
Easy to deploy as it’s a four section folding mat.
No worries about it rolling back up on you should you get off of it to check your targets.
It has a non-slip area for your elbows and a double stitched “lip” at the front of the mat that allows you to load your bipod.
The front
of the mat features two convenient storage pockets for small items, your DOPE book, or other small items.
When finished pew-pewing just pick it up, shake it off, fold it up and secure it with the three straps and quick release buckles.
It’s a little bit bigger than a Crosstac (a great mat also available from OpticsPlanet) but less expensive.

Another Quality Product from Vortex Optics!

Let’s begin with Optics Planet Customer Service; I ordered the wrong model for my Vortex Viper PST Gen2 glass and returning it for the correct one was seamless. Now let’s address the product itself; packaged well, easy to install (hex wrench INCLUDED), terrific fit and finish and simply representative of the quality we’ve come to expect from Vortex Optics.

PROS: The first thing you’ll notice is this bag is built with quality, dependability, and endurance in mind. External storage compartments are removable when not needed (MOLLE SYSTEM), stitching is without compromise, all zippers have a protective flap, plenty of interior pockets, 3-buckle weapon security system with a buttstock pocket to minimize weapon movement, a padded protective divider that further guards your weapon and allows for a second weapon to be carried in the bag (albeit not strapped in), removable backpack style padded straps for carrying the weapon into deep cover while allowing your hands to be free for humping other gear to your favorite shooting spot. CONS: Absolutely none unless you’re on the wimpy side because this bag is on the heavy side.
