I really like this red dot. It seems very well built, the glass is clear, with just a little tint, reticles are sharp, the windage and elevation adjustments are positive, predictable, and repeatable. Overall, everything works. It’s on an OSP optics cut xd40 that has DPP height Echelon U-Dot iron sights. It’s very easy to see and use the sights though the dot.
So far, it’s seen around 200 rounds, with no issues.
Bought this because I like quirky designs, and the Russians seem to make a lot of them. This Chinees made clone came well packaged with several base options. It seems very well made, nicely finished, and the glass is clear, but it does have a slightly blue tint to it. Auto-off and shake-awake works.
Mounted it using the low quick-disconnect mount on an older scout railed Mini-14. After around 50 rounds, it worked well, held zero and the mount is solid. I think it will stay on the mini.
I like this red dot. The only thing I wish it had is a circle-dot reticle.
I bought this because I wanted a sight that would co-witness the irons on the Hellcat, plus didn't want to remove it to change batteries. It is solidly built, so well that it looks like you can throw it out of a moving car without significant damage. Screws are the right length for the HC. You can see about half of the sights to line things up. So, yes, it works with iron sights. Reticle is bright and clear, doesn't change intensity when moved around, and is easy to adjust. Elevation and windage adjustments clicks are ok, but on the mushy side. Illumination auto-adjust seems to work well. As advertised, there is no-control lock, so I'm thinking about using the auto-adjust as the control lock. No Problems with it when sighting in with around 50 rounds.
The main issue I have with this sight is that it's almost too easy to change the reticle options. I mistakenly did that three times when sighting it in. For me, that alone makes an otherwise great optic questionable for carry.
Don't know if I'll keep it. Wish it had a a control lock feature.
I'm giving it a qualified Recommend "yes". This is a great optic if you can live with the easily changed reticle.
