I will not remove them. 1" group at 100yds is possible with the ammo your rifle likes. Seems to be to good to be true. I have not found a reason not to have.
It is a TIGHT fit, which is awesome. Extremely solid handguard. Does not move. I have both a Mid length and a Rifle length handguards installed. Zero regrets.
