This is a great red dot sight! I milled the slide for a CZ P09. I've been issued it for daily carry and IDPA shoots. Once your draw and presentation are consistent, it's faster than open sights. The auto brightness works well too, and is the main reason I chose this over the Viper. As for the warranty, Vortex stands with their products. I got a scratch in the glass for one of the metal clips on my holster. I emailed Vortex checking if the warranty would cover as it was my fault with the holster. Not only did they cover the repair, they attached a prepaid shipping label. I'll take a company that takes care of their customer any day. And at a cost of half of some of the other brands.
