I purchased a 8x32x56 Nightforce scope for my new Ruger Precision 6.5 Creeedmoor rifle and Optics Planet techs recommended the 1.5" extra high scope mounts, which I purchased. They are a little more expensive than simple high mounts. Mounting them was a snap and even with the 56mm optics, I still have plenty of clearance on the rail. I recommend you put a very small amount of Lok-tite on the mounting threads to assure it stays put, along with a slight amount of muscle on the nut....
