MIL-TEC Ghillie Suit
Learned this year that whitetail deer in Georgia where I hunt spook more when I was wear this suit vs regular fitting Nomad woodland camo clothing with a SnapBack hat and face paint. With the ghille suit I just had a boonie style camo hat pulled down low on my face. Same hunting spot just different days that I tried to do the comparison and also the deer were 7 yards or closer. The deer did spook with my regular camo but actually came right back just stayed a little farther away With the ghille suit they ran full out until out of sight. Also do not put this suit on until you get to the spot where you’ll actually be hunting because if you wear it in you will have every briar, leaf or twig that you came in contact on the walk in. For airsoft or someone that was trying to stay undetected from humans then this will probably be fine. I did have one of the plastic snap buttons on the jacket break the 1st time I used it but other than that the quality is pretty good in my opinion. For $100 or less I think it was a good deal and I would recommend for any one hunting real life monsters on the far left!!

Cole-Tac Big Boss Bag
This is actually my first shooting support bag so I don’t have a lot of experience in what makes a good support bag. I will say this Coletac big boss bag should do what I bought it for. Was not happy to see that I paid more than MSRP. Had a barcode sticker from Coletac stating $36. Pretty sure that I paid $41.99. If you want anything from Coletac I would check their website first especially now because of Black Friday and cyber Monday sales! I do like the bag and feel like it’s a good size for steadying and supporting the front end of a rifle or even supporting a pistol if you positioned the bag long side up.

This is actually my 1st Magpul butt stock! I normally buy BCM or B5. I needed a new stock and wanted the lightest and smallest that I could buy. So far this magpul stock is my favorite! I like the locking feature and makes the stock so tight on buffer tube that there’s no play or wiggle at all. Definitely will use this stock for any future Ar builds and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone in the market for a Ar stock. Also nice that Magpul has different cheek weld attachments and recoil pad thicknesses and angles

Without a doubt I would recommend this cleaning kit! Especially if you catch it on sale I think anyone would be satisfied with this kit from Real Avid. I bought some real avid product in the past, pistol block and Glock mag tool but more and more I’m really leaning towards their products. Their gun vise looks to be great and one of the best on the market. Hyskore has one that looks to be good and that is a good bit cheaper but definitely doesn’t have the features and accessories that the real avid has.

I bought 2 of the Fenix 16340 950mah batteries to use in my thermal. Before these I ordered some Amazon or Walmart specials but after a few charges they don’t last very long. I can’t remember the capacity on those. The Fenix are out performing my others and plan to buy more when they go back on sale or also considering buying the Fenix batteries with the built in charger. I would recommend these batteries if you need some rechargeable cr123/16340 batteries.

Real Avid Smart Mag Tool for Glock
I should have bought this tool or something similar a long time ago! If you clean your mags or are going to change base plates this tool will make disassembling a magazine so much easier. I’d recommend this tool but it’s the only tool like it that I’ve used. Optics planet was on point as usual.

Grey Ghost Gear Range Bag
Not going to go into a lengthy review and I’m not sure I even bought my range bag from optics planet. I have own a Grey Ghost, gray range bag with the red rope on the zippers for several years now! It will be the last range bag so make sure you like the color, no bullshit I would recommend it without hesitation to anyone looking for a new bag. I’ve never seen the multicam tropic bag and would like to have it setup for something else maybe.

Nice sharpener

Smiths 6in. Diamond Tri-Hone Knife Sharpener
I purchased this 3 sided sharpener on sale. For the sale price I think it’s a good buy. I biggest complaint would be the base. I think it could be better by making it where it wouldn’t slide while using it by making it heavier or by putting something on the bottom to reduce the sliding. I also noticed there is slop or movement while using one or 2 of the stones. I just put a small piece of scrap leather on one end of the base so it wouldn’t move. Biggest gap is probably 3/16”. It works and I’m not even that good at sharpening knives.

Troy pistol grip

Troy Control Gun Grip
I can’t believe that these are still in stock!. Troy has been around for awhile and I know they have and can make decent quality Ar’s and any parts or accessories you need. I paid $7 for the fde pistol grip because I was changing some things around and I needed a FDE color grip. Awesome deal and couldn’t be happier with my purchase and optics planet.
