If you are new to 1911s, take the ones that came with it and smash them with a hammer(realistically sell them ASAP). I was issued my first 1911 in 98’ and we only used Wilson mags. Any mag with that steel follower will fail. My new Dan Wessons came with checkmate mags, within two weeks they starting failing to release without being stripped out, failing to feed and failing to lock the slide back. I figured they would at least be good for practice, wrong. I have plenty of Wilsons on hand, but incase things get worse, I ordered 10 more. These are also easy to get thoroughly clean, as easy as pmags. Get some!

Solid holster with a fixable weakness

The holster in my opinion is top shelf, unfortunately the leg attachment is worthless. Order the UBL mid or low ride attachment. Use one of the straps from the drop leg and run it through the UBL and holster.

Worth every penny. These fit perfectly unlike the other brands that leave a thin space between the muffs and my skin. Changing the battery is a breeze. No interference with any of the stocks on my rifles.
