I have A half dozen or so of these installed now. This is a great stock that is very stable when locked up. Heavier than many adjustable’s, but there is zero wiggle and allows you to keep your cheek pad in the same position while adjusting to shoulder.

While it is well built, I could not get HP or flat tip rounds to feed without lots of jams. And the jam is actually within the adapter itself. The small feed ramp it has built in it has a very sharp edge on the bottom. I tried three different brands of glock mags. All would every so often do the same thing. Either the front edge of the bullet or sometimes the edge of the brass would catch on that sharp edge. It’s so sharp it will cut into the bullet or brass, depending on where it catches, and it will gouge into it and stop. Even using only fmj round nose, occasionally the brass edge would still jam. I tried everything I could think of on two range trips, but it was frustrating to say the least. If I have to limit myself to only fmj round nose Bullets and crimp the edge of the brass so much it folds into the bullet to make something feed, it’s a useless product. If I can’t figure something out, I’ll be returning mine.

A previous review I gave this scope a 1 Star due to being unable to focus properly. I had mounted a Larue QD on it which I use on nearly all my scopes. Larue says to torque to 30”lbs which I did. This apparently over torqued the frame. After I removed the mount because I was going to send back I noticed indentations around the scope. And now it is clear! I finally looked at the shepherd manual and it says to torque to a maximum of 20”lbs. So luckily for me it seems to have cleared up because I voided the warrantee by over torquing it by their specs.

With All the good reviews I am sure it’s just mine but I could not get it to focus in the background properly. I have over 40 scopes weapons so I know how to adjust reticle/parallax. I also have two other brand 1-8’s and have no problems. The background would only come into good Focus around the power setting at 4 1/2. Anything before that or after that would start to go out of focus. I have never had that issue with a scope before. My son-in-law who has perfect vision could not get it to work either. Tried to give it to him for free and he did not want it. So I am sending it back to the dealer in Florida. I have had this for over 30 days being it was a Christmas present and too late to send it back to Optics planet.

They do what they are supposed to do. Basic and easy to use. Makes it a lot easier to seat the next group of reloads to the same seating depth instead of using oal which is never constant due to the bullet tips varying.

The jack is heavy duty and the bag is a typical x type bag that is included. The picture clearly shows a rear bag. Yes I see now reading all the fine print that it does not actually say two bags but still the picture of the combo set clearly shows two completely different type bags highlighted. That makes it not as good of a deal as shown.
