Leatherwood Lover from United States, TN Public Profile
These rings are made correctly. With a deep black with little reflection in day light.
I set them atop Burris AR Tactical Mount 1/2 inch Picatinny Riser 410340.
Holding a new Leupold Mark AR MOD 1 3-9x40mm P5 Dial Riflescope, Matte Black, FireDot TMR Reticle 115370.
The rings have top connecting screws that almost block the view of the scopes top turret dial numbers. Almost.
They are steel The high are a bit heavy. Close to twice the weight of the med size rings.
Using the Burris Riser on AR Rifles or anything with a pic rail makes Scope changes very fast.
Example: Switching from a 1-6x24mm CM-R Scope to a standard Tactical Scope like the above Leupold 3-9x40.
Is fast & very easy using a Star Bit tool or from a screw driving kit.
The entire unit slides right off. And does hold it's Zero when reattached to the same slots it was mounted at..
I have two sets. Yes I would recommend this product.
Oh boy, If anyone can acquire the target faster with less confuse to your eyes with another type of sight after trying this style ( Dot over Dot) please let me know.
Anyone with a 10mm (glock-20). Full size frame, 4.6" bbl.
With full tilt ammo @ 1350 fps with 180gr bullets with 783 ft.lbs..
That gives it a bit of recoil. So getting back on point fast is not so easy.
These trit sights with the orange front WILL help you become better, faster, and more confident of your shot.
I have these sights on 4 auto's. With the orange in day vs a white dot. There is no contest. The orange stands out and grabs your eye.
The rear with a small trit dot is correct. With the bright white U on the oem rear glock sight is to much. It can make it hard to focus on the front onto the target.
I hope this helps those who are put off by Dot over Dot sights.
Hands down. There better. There easy to install with or without the sight tool. I did mine by hand.
the rear is to thick. A fine file will get them to fit. Careful - remove just a touch of f it.
The front has a screw that needs Loc Tight purple glue. Not Blue. just a tiny bit inside threads.
I used fine needle nose pliers to tighten. Snug it. Don't over tighten.
Yes, I would recommend and buy this exact type of sight again.

This review is on the Hi-Lux 1-4x 30mm close corter & mid range Scope.
In CMR-4 Ranging scope for 556 rifles. Also two of the CMR-762 models.
I can understand your frustration with the Black Specks on one or more of the inside glass lenses.
I had the same issue with the CMR-$ & the CMR-762 that I bought a month apart.
When I got the same issue I called Optics Planet FAST.
They were not able to help me due to the fact that they both scopes had been Mounted & Used.
I was told that Leather Wood should cover that problem..
AND THEY DID.
After a few weeks I called & found that they were already on the way.
To top that Mr Woo. The Owner he claimed to be, called me a week after I got both new scopes to ask if there were any issues at all with either the 556 or 762 cal drop comp scopes?
NO SIR I said.
And ao make up for the four week wait on the new scopes he sent me a new top half of the M-1200 com scope that was sitting around as a gift. It still works as a general scope so great I said. The lower half had been damaged.
For anyone wanting one of the best scopes. Hands Down in the price range this is for you.
The reticle is to die for. Very crisp lineswith all the bells. Super glass & Eye relieve.
Night Vision illum settings. Off between 5 & 6 position.
Best is the Turret ZERO STOP feature.. The turrets only turn one turn for top. Only UP. The side turret only half way left or right. And after zero is found the turrets an be quickly set back to "0
