This Boyds stocks are great value for money, only don't be afraid for some woodworking. I own a Sako Quad heavy barrel, and although everything fitted as a glove, the barrel was closed in from every side. This partically stock is made for the small profile barrel. The fit was so tight that glass bedding wasn't required. I recommend the Boyds straight grip accessory for a good shooting position, gives a more straight pistol like grip.

At first glans I was very please with this stock, only when I started to fit the action it turned out to be a bit disappointed.
If you buy this stock with the idea, you can exchange the stock, and you're ready to go, you'll be disappointed.
There was no bushing at the action screw, so I've had to refit the one out of the original stock, which wasn't high enough, so I had to do some wood working to sink the bush deep enough.
Also the magazine didn't sink deep enough in the stock, so I had to make the sleeves longer so it sank deeper in the stock.
So after a half day of gun-smitting I had everything in place and was ready to go to the range.
The shooting experience is great, more mass, and length of pull and cheekrest are very easy adjustable. The barrel is free floating so when you have it settled it's surely worth the money.
