It is goldilocks tight on a GP100. Not the maximum quality leather but real good for the price. I like that the belt loops have a slight mold already and fits more tucked in. New leather tends to take a long time for that to happen naturally so that's a nice touch.

I expect a leather holster to be tighter. Maybe the manufacturer extected a rail on the gun. I don't have one and GI 1911s don't. So it gets a pretty good not great.

The instructions state it can be mounted left side pointed back or right side pointed forward. Then you can mount your light. I chose right, so the light does not get tied up with the sling. Well after 10 slugs or so the mount and light are bent toward the centerline, angled left. I straightened it and shot 10 more, same thing. It's a $40 small piece of metal, I'd like it not to bend okay?

I'll be the one to write a negative review. Look the photo here on opticsplanet shows the QD hole in shadow so you cant see well. The actual Magpul box outer photo photo shows the metal QD insert installed! Imagine my surprise when I tried to connect my QD sling to the hole. Oops, not included, and with no warning. Now I see I have to buy another part that is almost half the cost of the stock itself and then wait for shipping and install it. Either that or make a return. Product quality is still yet to be determined. Listen, Magpul, there are a lot of good plastic part makers for ARs. Deception gets you dinged, thanks for the poor experience.

I like them fine, but they are dirty. Good for reloading. There's a slight groove but nothing that will get in your way.

Not familiar with the brand but it's really doing well on top of my shotgun. It's just a rail. I put a red dot on there. Best I can say is that I can just forget about it and it stays put and looking good under field use and heavy fire.

It is identical to the one that came with my older SIG. Not a bad first holster while you figure the gun out. It is rugged and minimal and the retention is okay but the problem is many better holsters exist now. This is jack of all trades master of none. Go get yourself a good duty holster and also a good IWB holster and then use the best one for the job on the day you need it.

This is 1 1/4 ounce slug in 2 3/4 shell, which is tremendous and packs a wallop. Overkill for deer and bear and car doors. Recoil is tough in a short barrel pump and slows follow-up shots. But then again that same smoothbore barrel still shoots them accurate because the Brenneke style of lug stays point-forward, there is no keyholing to kill accuracy. Now I say accurate that means accurate for an 18" smoothbore, which really means only about 50 yards. If you had a rifled barreled 12 gauge with a 24" barrel you could go a lot farther, but then you should really be using a sabot round anyway.

This is a lead round with all that that implies. One of my .357 spits lead or hot gas back in to my face when I shoot these. My other two magnums don't do this and maybe it's cylinder gap but who can say. It's heavy and really just a a deep-penetrating non-expanding bear or deer hunting load (goes through any bone and still exits). Full power heavy .357 will recoil but it isn't a .44 you'll be fine in a full sized gun.

Best thing I can say is that the friction is perfect, the belt clip is confidence inspiring, it stays put and close to the body. The mag distance is just enough to grab one without hitting the other one. The tension is adjustable but not the angle. Comp Tac for the win.
