I've used traditional scopes on my rifles for years, but was convinced by friends to try a red dot. After reading through hundreds of reviews and online videos, I decided to try the Sparc II. It definitely makes target acquisition faster, and the dot is crisp and bright, even in bright sunlight. Great for short to medium range shooting, but I still prefer traditional optics for longer range/ precision. The Sparc II sits on my home defense AR, along with a Streamlight TLR-2 HD G tactical light.
