Just pay 100 dollars more for a real sight

After using the Mepro Pro S for about a month, I’ve noticed several significant issues. The parallax is the worst I've encountered in any enclosed pistol red dot, making it feel far from a true 1x optic. Additionally, there's a noticeable reflection in the glass caused by the glue used to seal the front lens, which creates a large horizontal white line in the center of the sight picture when the optic is tilted down about 20 degrees.
Another drawback is Mepro’s decision to design a proprietary mounting plate, which severely limits the optic’s versatility. The plate itself is surprisingly heavy, and its thickness causes the optic to sit higher on the slide. This makes using any adapter below the factory plate impractical. While the Mepro Pro S shows promise as a first attempt, there's significant room for improvement.

I may have been sold a fake optic?

SIG SAUER ROMEO5 1x20mm 2 MOA Red Dot Sight
I ordered a sig Romeo 5 and received one that arrived in a unsealed brown box with no manual. The red dot looked fuzzy and unclear. I am not sure if this is a real sig optic, it appears to be a counterfeit.
