Bought this magazine carrier to balance out a heaver stainless steel Dan Wesson Razor Back 1911 style in 10mm. The 4, 9 round wilson combat magazines with the heal cap fit tight at first but after 24 hours there was no problem. The balance is now perfect and very comfortable on long hikes and every day wear. The added capacity for single stacked magazines is also a plus and the angle of access is a much more natural movement than pulling down. I did try the black holster at first but after only a few wearings it started to chip off small black flakes which was totally unacceptable. Optics Planet's customer support is awesome and replaced the holster with a brown one and I then bought the Quad Carrier. Very satisfied.

I bought this item because the shoulder holster I bought recommended a tie down for the holster. I got this product described as a tie down listed as a must have for the holster that I bought but is doesn't fit anything I bought and have no idea what it is for because it came with no instructions at all. Not worth sending it back but would like to know what it is for?

I always wanted one but they were just a little to pricy until I found ti here on Optics planet with free shipping too. My wife gave me a Dan Wesson 10mm Razorback for my B-day and this is just the rig for back country travel. Very comfortable and well balanced. I got the black one and am very happy with it. This rig is also great to throw over sweats when you'r not wearing a belt and just heading out for a short walk or feeding the horses etc.

I bought this light at Sportsman's Warehouse in Grand Junction CO last year while traveling. I had given my over sized SureFire and mount to my son. I just needed an inexpensive light for my AR15 and this fit the bill. I have to say that I am very impressed and it has a permeant place on the side where it doesn't get in the way and I really like the slide switch. Compact with plenty of light when you need it. I live 10 miles north of the Border in very rural Southern Arizona so I depend on good products to function night and day. The beam has a great range and is just wide enough for complete coverage at close range. For fast shooting if you center you target in the beam you will hit an average size silhouette target every time. This light does take the 123 lithium batteries but that's what gives you the bright light. You can get them from SureFire by the box very inexpensively. Don't hesitate to pick one of these up you won't be disappointed. FYI I have had this light for over a year with many rounds fired and it is still a solid dependable light and I am on this site to pick up another one.
