Review for
Aimpoint ACRO P-2 Red Dot Reflex Sight
I already had 2 of the black ACRO P-2’s, one on my Glock 45 duty gun (direct milled MOS7) and one on a Glock 20 Gen 4 that I had Jagerwerks mill the ACRO footprint. Both ACRO’s have held up very well and so I wanted to put one on my 19X MOS, understanding that this would require a plate. I’m not a huge fan of plates but I’ve used them before and know that buying a quality plate makes the difference. So long story short, I was looking for the FDE ACRO but they’ve been out of stock for a couple months and are backordered out about 4 more months. Then Optics Planet released this OPMOD edition in the Coyote tan. The pictures make it look kind of orangish or copperish but I figured screw it, I’d give it a shot since pics can be misleading. It came in today and is a perfect match for the “peanut butter” Coyote tan 19X frame. I mean perfect match. I’m normally one of those who doesn’t care much as far as color matching and with tan close enough is good enough, but it was definitely a nice surprise for it to match perfectly to the frame. Plus at the time it was on promo for $580, when the FDE model had been floating $650-699 before going out of stock. So I got a perfect match and a great price. No complaints whatsoever. Definitely recommend for pairing with the 19X.

Sig SRT kit
Written on Jun 13, 2017
I recently purchased a P226 MK25. The only negative of the pistol is that it does not feature the Sig SRT kit from the factory. The factory trigger pull on this pistol was amazing but the reset in both DA and SA were so long, almost all the way out, that it really bothered me. I purchased this SRT kit thinking any little bit would help since the reset was so long. After installing (takes less than 5 minutes if you watch an install video) I was absolutely shocked at how much of a difference is made. The reset is so short now. I'd say that maybe about 2mm of movement and you're able to fire again. It's nice because once you learn the new reset, you can just lightly release pressure off your trigger finger after firing and you'll feel (and hear) the click knowing you're good to go again. This is a phenomenal product and I would not use a Sig without it by choice. The best part is that it is a Sig brand kit, so you get that reassuring feeling of knowing you're dropping a part in made by the pistol manufacturer, unlike that "I hope it works" feeling when you drop in a third-party part. Be advised, this kit only changes the reset and does NOT lighten the trigger pull. So for LE guys that have department mandates on not modifying your sidearm from the factory pull weight, you're in the clear with this product! The shorter reset does make the trigger FEEL lighter but it measures out the same weight before and after. Installation of the SRT kit. Opticsplanet did a great job shipping t
