I have really been enjoying this thermal sight, the menu is easy to use and the freeze function made sighting it in a breeze. I sighted it in at 50 yrds with one shot, then moved back from there. The image is sharp and clear, and changing from black hot to white hot and picture in picture is a snap. With the way the control buttons are located you don't have to fumble around in the dark to them like on some of the other thermals. The battery life is better than expected, and battery can be changed out in just a few seconds. Taking pictures and video is easy also, as is downloading updated software. I also like the ease of moving it from one rifle to the other with the quick release mount. The one thing I would like to be improved is that the pictures you take are not as sharp and clear as the image you see in the sight.

I ordered this riser for a customer that was trying to save every penny. This riser looks nice and will get the job done if you are building on a budget, and trying to save every penny. However.....on the one I received, the thumb screws were drilled and threaded off center so bad that they did not fit squarely against the side of the riser. So I had to take them off and file the back of them down until they fit squarely and could be tightened properly.
I definitely would not use this riser on my personal rifle. There are a lot of other brands on the market that cost a little more but are much higher quality. Most of the time you get what you pay for, and this was definitely one.

This riser is very well constructed, and mounts to 1913 picatinny rails. It also mounts on rails that are not mil spec 1913 as well. So if you have ever had a riser or scope mounts that were too tight or too loose to fit your flat top receiver, this one will fit either and take the frustration out of having to reorder or trying to adapt to fit.
It is held securely by three allen head cross bolts, and will stay put under the heaviest of recoil.
