I chose the Romeo X over the EPS Carry due to Sig’s lifetime warranty. Also the brightness buttons are better protected from accidental changes. The glass is a bit better as well. I have both and I think the Sig is a better optic. It cost about $100 more than the Holoson but I believe it is worth it.
I waited for this sight to become ready for sale. Then I waited for the price to come down a bit. It is intuitive to use and easy to put on and take off. It is simplicity at work. It seems to be well made and it is lightweight. This will be a good home defense optic.
I like it a ton. However it is not perfect. The auto brightness setting is mostly too dim to use. If the auto brightness is too dim to use and it is actually not solar powered.....then the solar panel adds size, weight, complexity, and cost with no real benefit to me. The good news is that it's a good enough sight to overlook that and still be pleased with it.
