I have tried two other aftermarket but I could not get the firearm to cycle correctly. Since Timney is local to me and offers installation service, I decided to give them a try. I have their trigger in my AR already so I am aware of their legendary quality and commitment to a solid product. The installation is pretty simple as long as you read the SUPPLEMENTAL instructions first (had to take down the firearm and reinstall the spring because there was an upgrade / change in design. After two tries, I was able to get the trigger installed and the pistol (a G20 Gen 4) to cycle correctly. I used the red spring with the SSR 3.5 # connector. The pull is very smooth with almost no uptake until you hit the wall, and then it is a clean, crisp break. I was initially skeptical about their sear design thinking that it over complicates the simplicity of a Glock but somehow it just works. The trigger feels awesome now and makes shooting the 10 mm a joy.

I confirmed with CMC that this will work with my G20 Gen 4 and purchased it through OP. When I went to install it, the trigger won’t cycle correctly. It stayed in the fired position and won’t cycle even I rack the slide. I had to manually take my slide down to release it and replace the CMC trigger witg the stock trigger + a connector from a competitor and the gun cycled perfectly. So either my trigger is a dud or it wasn’t designed to work with the G20. Would be trying a Timney one next since they are local to me.

I got this rail from my wife as my birthday gift. I was going to use it for my HK416A5 14.5" clone build that I am doing. The packaging is a little flimsy from Lancer and there was some marks on the rail, which luckily came off and did not hurt the finish. The fit and finish is great and it feels very comfortable with the Phase5 M-Lok hand stop installed. The stock quad rail feels too big in my hands. I did run into an issue trying to fit the hand guard over my gas block, which is the 416 version with the sling loops on the side. Apparently, Lancer designed this hand guard to fit the SLIM LINE gas block alas MR556. I contacted Lancer and their only suggestion is to have a gunsmith machine off the loops and install the handguard. Not a very helpful suggestion. So now I'm waiting for an MR556 slim line gas block to become available in the US (they are out of stock currently) before I can install my Lancer handguard. Will report back once I have a chance to install it and use it. Meanwhile, it's just sitting in my safe looking pretty.

The KDG receiver extension is very light and well built. It provided extra rail space to install a bipod in a forward position. It also provided space for mounting laser / night vision unit in front of the factory iron sights.
