Not too much, not too little. Just right.

I put the Burris Fullfield 6–24x50 on my .223 predator rig and ran it through a mock NRL Hunter-style range day with the boys plus other dynamic range days and came away impressed.
The 6–24× magnification and 50mm objective gave me a great balance of field of view at the low end and usable reach when dialing for longer shots. The glass produced clear, contrasty images and made target identification and quick follow-ups easy.

The Ballistic E3 reticle was easy to learn and easy to use without too much going on in your field of view. Adjusting for different ranges was quick and repeatable. The turret clicks are tactile and positive, and the numbers and hash marks are big enough to read at a glance while keeping your head in the shooting position which I loved.
What I really liked about this scope was the Burris advanced exposed knob setup. The elevation and windage knobs are large, with solid tactile clicks and very readable markings. It made my dialing fast and confident especially under the clock. The zero-stop on the elevation turret is a genuine bonus for dynamic stages where you are needing to change shooting positions and engage targets at various ranges. I could shoot one target, get up, and while on the move adjust my knob back to zero without looking down, preparing myself to make another range adjustment.

The scope’s weight and overall dimensions kept my .223 setup balanced and not front-heavy. Click value is 1/4 MOA, and the scope offers plenty of elevation tra

Whether you're fine-tuning custom handloads or dialing in a sight tape for your hunting bow, accurate velocity data is a must. I’ve got to say, this compact unit delivers impressive performance.

First Impressions & What’s in the Box:
The Velocity Pro is Athlon’s latest entry into the chronograph space, a Doppler radar unit built for portability, precision, and ease of use.

In the box, you’ll find:
The chronograph itself, a compact tripod, firm protective case, quick-start guide, and USB charging cord.

Setup is fast and intuitive. Within minutes of opening the box, I had the unit powered on and ready to shoot.

Testing with Handloaded .308 Rifle Ammo:
One of my primary uses for a chronograph is validating ballistic data for my handloaded rifle rounds, especially for NRL Hunter matches where consistency and power factor can be critical.

I tested the Velocity Pro with my AR-10 using custom .308 loads. The unit picked up shots quickly and didn’t miss a beat. After multiple rounds, here are some of the results I got in the unit: Average Velocity: 2,566 fps Standard Deviation: 13.8 Extreme Spread: 36.4 Deviation from Average: 12.2 Kinetic Energy: 5,556.2 ft-lbs Power Factor: 975.3

This level of detail is invaluable for load development, verifying consistency, and making sure you're within spec for match requirements. I even brought the unit with me to an NRL Hunter match and used it at the zeroing range, it was portable, quick to set up, and gave me instant confidence in my
