Easy to convert to mil-spec buffer tube for AR-15
Written on Nov 06, 2020
Review for
Elite Force HK 416 E1 Crane Stock
I got a steel file and spent about 10 minutes sanding the inner diameter of the stock until it fit. It fits the buffer tube on my AR-15 perfectly. The inside of the stock where the tube goes looks somewhat scuffed from the sanding but there are no signs of sanding when it is on the firearm.
Works just like the actual E1 stock. I pulled as hard as I could on the sling loops and they don't even budge, so I feel confident that the loops are just as durable as the real thing. I even got the actual HK concave buttpad for it and it fits.
This is a great cheap option as an alternative to cheek weld stocks like the SOPMOD or the actual E1 stock from HK (they are almost indistiguishable from each other).
