What an amazing optic! I purchased this to sit on top of a Ruger PC Carbine. The only issue I had was the slight astigmatism I have in my right eye produced multiple reticles when looked through the optic. I have returned this and replaced it with the 2.5 MOA version (my Aimpoint red dots do not seem to bother my right eye like the triangle reticle did). If your eyes are good to go, this in an excellent optic. Wide view, bright adjustable reticle, easy to use. Leupold makes good gear.

I purchased this scope and mounted it on my Marlin 336 .30-30. Great quality, clear glass, parallax adjustment, excellent eye relief. I have no complaints about the scope. Vortex makes a great quality scope, and you can't beat the price for what you get. Buy this one with confidence.

I purchased the Vudu 1-6 SR2 scope in lieu of a red dot sight. The scope is very nice and build quality seems great. Says "Made in Japan" on the bottom.....I thought it would be made in the US like Eotech's HWS. Parallax was pretty bad on the scope and the BDC subtensions were difficult to read (they are only readable at 6x) even on the brightest setting. The reticle had some fuzziness to it, no matter the brightness, that couldn't be resolved with the focus ring. The unit itself is on the heavy side (24 ounces if I remember correctly). Add a mount to it and you're pushing 2 pounds for an optic. Eye relief was very good and the glass itself was clear. I returned the scope without even mounting it to my rifle. The scope will be exchanged for a HWS and magnifier instead, which is what I should have purchased to begin with.
