This is the second Nikko Stirling Nighteater I have purchased the 1st. was a 3x12 and is mounted on a very,very accurate Ruger 10/22 Target that makes one hole groups at 75 yards child's play with this scope. When my wife wanted a more powerful scope for her 10/22 squirrel gun I started shopping for another Nighteater for it. This is when I found Optics Planet and a truly great price on this 4x16 Nighteater. Shipping was fast, the scope arrived within a few days. After mounting and sighting in my wife is now not satisfied unless she makes head shots on the squirrels from 75-100 yards. The scope has very good low light performance in the early morning and evening twilight and I have found it to also work well for spotlighting for dispatching nuisance Opossums and raccoons at night. Overall the Nikko Stirling Nighteater scopes seem to be a great value in a quality rifle scope.
