Fixed my Grendel

Was having issues getting my 6.5 Grendel to cycle properly and constantly. 20" barrel and rifle lenght gas system. Tied an adjustable gas block, but it wasn't a gas issue. Ended up being a spring/buffer issue. Tried a number of spring and buffer weight configurations and wouldn't run 100% of the time. Came across the Maxim products on Optics Planet, and I'm glad i did. I'm now running 100% with zero cycling or ejection issues. Quality is excellent on the Maxim products.

Absolutely junk. Not a single round will chamber. Round will only feed 3/4 of the way, then jams in the barrel. Even if there was a forward assist, it still wouldn't feed completely. I've built a lot of AR platform weapons and this is a complete piece of junk. DO NOT BUY!!!
