These are great little sights and sit way flatter than my other Magpul BUIS Gen 2's. Really my only and main complaint is that these do not lock when up or down. If you plan to use these for anything other than the range, you might be concerned that if you brush your rifle up against something that these sights will flip down. I think that's a very real possibility. If only they had a locking mechanism when flipped up, they would be better than anything in this price range.

Main issue is battery type and life

This is a great little green dot, but my main issue is the 1632 battery, which costs about 4-5x a 2032 that most other sights use. This is also the only sight I have that uses 1632 batteries so it adds another line item I have to keep stocked for just this device. The battery life is also poor. I've had to change this battery many more times than another cheaper green dot that I use frequently with a 2032 battery. Otherwise, it's a good sight. Holds zero, is plenty bright in daytime. Haven't had any other problems with it.

Another basic part that was needed for a build. Not much to say about it other than it didn't cost much and worked as it should to time my muzzlee device. Would buy again if I needed another. Have to add some filler to meet minimum review length.
