I received my product two weeks ago. Unfortunately, I haven't had the chance to test the optic yet, but I’ll clarify some features. I’ll submit this review in 2 parts. This will be my initial comparisons and testing. After firing at range I’ll update. Skip to end for final thoughts
**Mounting:** The optic uses the Aimpoint Micro T1/T2 footprint. Mine arrived with two Picatinny risers attached, which must be unscrewed and removed to access the Aimpoint macro footprint. After removing the two large raisers, you’ll gain access to the T2 foot direct mount footprint. This was a key reason for my purchase, as I’m not a fan of the design choices from Primary Arms. T2 makes this unit compatible with adapter plates for low profile piggy back and offset mounting. This is very important to keep in mind if you want a top mounted piggy back prism. Hight Over Bore matters and can completely change your shooting experience.
**Reticle:** The reticle resembles EOTECH’s "donut of death." In my opinion, a solid dot would have been preferable, but the donut does capture your eye. I messaged the directly manufacture on YouTube and they informed me they may release a single DOT version in the future. No date or confirmation at this time. Just figured that might be worth telling
**Illumination:** The illumination is comparable to Primary Arms' micro prism. I find this unit to be daytime bright for a prism. But if turned too high the unit will bloom out a little. To try to rectify this issue, I a
