The clarity and light transmission are excellent. Bought this for hunting but wanted something I could bench as well to shoot distance. Sighting in was easy was within 2" on paper at 25yds first shot by boresighting. Clicks continued to move precisely my point of impact as I sighted in. For the money this is hard to beat. Although coming from traditionally hunting rifles and typically a Duplex Retical or something similiar I will say the thin lines are hard to see in low light. I am worried about having an opportunity on an elk in timber at low light conditions.
