I use primarily Hornady products on my bench, this is another great piece.
While some may disagree, I bought it to expedite my precision loads for 6.5, 300winmag, and 308. I have a progressive loader for many other rounds, but these in particular like to use a single stage. I didn’t like the previous mode and it was a bear to clean. I can say, I have thoroughly appreciated this new model. The auto fill feature has increased my single stage load speed significantly and I am confident with the load weight each time. I can dump into the case, set the tray down and by the time I crimp, I have another one ready.
Another nice feature id the large buttons on the display and Its easy to use. Cleanup is a breeze and I rigged a small battery pack and barrel connector to connect to it if I move to a slot where I don’t have a wall socket.
I also like the load count and the overage alarm. It’s intuitive enough to not count an over charge. So you can dump your powder back in and start where you left off.
It still has slots on the tray that make it useful in weighing arrows as well. Probably the only down side is the way the top sits over the tray it limits the ability to use it for weighing larger objects and making it less universal as a scale. It’s limited to grains and grams.
Other than that, it does what it’s designed to do very well, at least for me. I have read other reviews with more cons than I experience. I have loaded with large and small (fine) powders with no issue. I use

Burris must have partnered with an overseas company on these. They are a rebranding of a model sold in the UK/Japan. This is not a Clip On, yet. They do not come with, nor are there any adapters available to make it a slip on. Right now, it’s a clip on capable unit. You get no adapter, you get a universal battery charger that makes no sense, because they don’t send you rechargeable batteries to use it with and honestly unless you know how to hunt for just the right mah CR123 rechargeable, they don’t give you that much run time on a rechargeable to be worth using them. It is feature less beyond Hot Track and switching color option modes. There is a bulky proprietary USB-6pin cable so you can port the video over to a mini DVR unit. It does not identify as a USB camera on a computer or other device. But the additional few pixels you get from the sensor do offer a clean image.
I have seen some marketing overseas for the adapters that are roughly $125US equivalent. I most certainly hope that is not the price we are expected to pay for each adapter after sending this amount on this unit and getting so little. Most competitor devices, from companies that have a history in thermal, unlike Burris who must have had some kids come in and say they need to get on the thermal train, offer more.
Also, you may notice, the Burris Forever Warranty, does NOT apply to these.
Burris, you should be ashamed.

This upper fits a std lower, does not feel bad in the hand, but I could not keep zero on any optics beyond that of a small Romeo5. After a few rounds, it begins to flex. We tested this on a precision bench and the rigidity began to change after 3 rounds fired in succession. We fired 15rounds of standard 55gr 223 fmj, the change was noticeable by the eye. With a dial indicator placed at the barrel. There was a change of .20 in with 20lb of side force applied to the top of a 16” ballistics advantage sub moa barrel. The time for cooling was 47 sec from the last round fired. This was to lock it in the vise, set out zero and test.
For a polymer upper, great to have as a quick back up piece or a short range pdw. But at 50yds the temp variance from setting zero at the range at 89deg. To a hunt with 27deg temps. Was 3” off center. Only change made was swapping the upper to a age aluminum upper. Spot on. Setting rounds on top of each other at 100yds repeatedly with a vortex 1-8 optic. Swapped with the Romeo5, all center 2” grouping at 100yds. Please take it into consideration. Great for a starter, plinking, toss around, short range, stalk build. Not sturdy enough to be considered ethical form a 50yd game shot.

Takes a moment to get used to, but once you do it really does assist in dropping controlled pairs quickly.
I added some anti walk pins, go ahead and order the 3gun mod spring for it or the 4lb spring, it’s not hard to replace. But it makes this trigger a nice all round piece. Clean semi, and controlled binary.
Only tough part is training yourself to recognize the difference on the two functions when you have years of trigger pull beat into you.

These are spot on. Same great quality I have come to appreciate from Armaspec. Bought several and put them on every platform I have. Across various Lower types, no issue with fitment. Snug on both my drop ins and my hammer kits. I used them for my hyperfire trigger kits and they are a great fit.

I bought a couple of these to test. They are not compatible with some items like a Dolos kit or heavier optics. I think it’s hit or miss on quality. Fitment for same barrel was different on each. Agree with other reviews on grade of materials, but they do hold up to heavy loads. I ran a 458 socom on one, 223 and 300AAC. No issues other than can’t hold a zero for anything past 50 yds. I worked and worked on everything other than swapping back to AL upper. I tried several optics and with a romeo5 I could keep groups well enough at short distance to count, then just went to BUIS. But when mounting a scope on it, it’s just not stable enough especially as your barrel warms to hold a solid zero. Only swap I made was back to AL and new dope on my glass, tack driving again. It was just this upper.
