Almost always necessary

Review for
Wilson Combat Barrel Link
I have assembled three 45 ACP’s from parts now and learned early on that having a set of links on hand is a necessity for fitting the slide assembly to the receiver, especially if the assembly has already involved fitting the barrel to the slide, tightening the slide to the receiver and using parts from several manufacturers. The barrel links are well made swap and try for fit items.

Almost a necessity for parallax adjustment

Review for
March Scopes Middle Focus Wheels
Fine adjustment needed especially at the shorter distances for NRL22 matches is vastly improved with the larger middle wheel attached to the parallax knob. It actually allows a more accurate (and faster) adjustment than I could make grasping the parallax knob direct. The middle wheel is specific to the March scope and whether there is illumination or not. It is held in place by 3 nylon tip set screws. With my compact scope, there was no longer enough clearance for the tube mounted Holland’s level or any of the picatinny mount levels I already had. It was necessary to switch to a Spuhr mount with a built in level. For the improvements in focus, remounting to accommodate the larger middle wheel was a fair trade.
