Works, and works good.

Written on Jan 18, 2023

Put together using a cross armory slide parts kit, I had to replace firing pin safety, because the Cross Armoury one was causing a heavy trigger pull. So I bought a oem glock firing pin safety. Anyways, all the parts went together good, and the slide comes with a liner pre installed. The optic I’m using is a holosun he407c-gr x2. Everything went together good, using the zev screws that come with the slide. I shot and tested the slide at the range and it worked flawlessly. No malfunctions. It’s a very high quality slide, built to precise standards. Happy with purchase.

Like them better than Meprolight TruDot sights.

I have meprolight tru-dot night sights on my Springfield Xd, and these Trijicon HD XR night sights on my Glock 19. The sight picture on the Trijicon is better to me, you have the capability for more accurate shots, since the sight picture is more fine. The orange front sight is really nice in daylight, I prefer the orange to plain. Also the tritium is more clear in the Trijicon sights, than the MeproLight night sights. You can see the green tritium easier in the dark. Overall these are expensive but are so nice in build quality and sight picture it’s well worth it.

I prefer two stage to one stage triggers.

I bought this trigger around June of 2021, used it quite a bit, and all I can say is wow, what a huge difference from a mil spec trigger. The two stages of the trigger really help with getting a good accurate shot. A mil spec trigger is very heavy, which could be a good thing for some people, it would be much harder to have a negligent discharge with a mil spec trigger than this trigger. That being said you should train and get very used to this trigger, because it’s very light of a trigger pull. That said buy this trigger and never look back.
