I wanted to add a laser trainer accessory to my existing CO2 pellet pistol. This does clip on my rail and does react. Without CO2 (trigger/hammer click only) it only activated the laser about half the time ... not satisfying. It did create a nice, clean laser dot though, without recoil.

What I really wanted, the most, was realistic, blowback, recoil training with the laser. With CO2, it activated every time. That's good!

However, instead of a clean dot to register the laser hit, you get a long streak of laser light; not so good, very distracting.

It might be better with an infrared laser but then you need more expensive infrared cameras for laser training and I have my doubts about shot registering accuracy from the laser streak, even if you can no longer see it with your eyes.

I've given up on the recoil training and will now experiment with a purpose built, non-recoil laser training pistol with visible laser.
