Sadlak M1A Airborne Scope Mount

Review for
SADLAK M1A Scope Mount
There are many decent scope mounts for the M1A rifle and most follow a similar design/pattern. If you study them carefully I believe you'll find that the Sadlak has a couple of features that propels it to the front of the pack. One of those is the way it anchors to the clip slot filler block via THREE attachment screws. Redundancy is a good thing. It is robust in the extreme and the Airborne version shaves a few ounces of weight off the standard offering without compromising strength. The lightening cuts makes it look nice, too.
If you want a decent scope mount for your M1A for occasional light-medium duty use, I believe any of the better options out there will serve your needs well. If you're wanting the premier, bomb-proof mount for sustained use, I don't believe you can do any better than the Sadlak and I'm quite certain you can do worse. Mine is mounted on a SA M1A Super Match and it has been a "set it and forget it" experience for me so far. Very pleased.
