Clear Glas, Light Weight, Solid Build
Written on Nov 05, 2019
I bought these just before this deer season and used them through deer and elk season. These are much lighter than my 10x42 Vortex binos, and the clarity is SO much better. Low-light performance is excellent for those early-morning or late-evening glassing sessions. With the clarity of the glass, these 8x are just as good, if not better, than the 10x42s that will probably stay in the truck from now on.
Build quality is excellent, the binos feel "right" in the hand, and the twist-up eyecups are smooth as butter and lock in place perfectly.
"Ounces are pounds and pounds are pain" goes the familiar lightweight/backpacker mantra. These cut the pain, and the lighter weight makes unsupported glassing a lot more comfortable if you want to forego the weight of a tripod. 5 Stars all around and absolutely recommended.
