Awesome Red Dot

This is a fantastic red dot optic. The field of view seems much larger than others that I have tried. I have astigmatism and in the sun light, the dot appears perfectly round. This is not the case with most red dot optics. They normally appear as a cluster of grapes or a comet. In low light, I still see some dot distortion but it is not terrible.

I got this for a great deal here at Optics Planet. I was originally looking at a Leupold to replace an old Barska. I decided to give this a try based on the discounted price. I am glad I did. Compared to the Barska, I have excellent eye relief, great clarity and brightness. Of course, the Barska was a 20x60x60 and this is a 20x60x80...so, maybe not a fair comparison. I always struggled to see .22 bullet holes at 200 yards with the Barska due to the poor glass and poor eye relief at elevated magnification. The Konus addresses all of those deficiencies. I can easily see bullet holes at 200 yards at 35x. Is it a top of the line product...no, but I paid less than $180 for this scope. The price/value relationship makes it a 5 star product.

Love these sights

I run a 1-4 optic on an AR15. I wanted a backup set of iron sights for short range but nothing that would get in the way. These are perfect. They lay flat when not in use and are quick to deploy. I sighted them for 25 yards and it is a great compliment to the way I shoot. I can now just twist the gun 45 degrees and be sighted in for close range...it is very quick and natural. The sights fit the rail nice and tight and seem very rugged. The seem to be very sturdy when deployed and unless struck, there is very little chance of them dropping as a result of gun recoil.
