This is a real quality product. A no-brainer to install properly and is easy to adjust. Takes all the frustration out of tuning your favorite black gun. You don't have to spend a fortune to get a really great piece of equipment.

I was literally hours away from purchasing a Vortex Viper when I was told about Athlon scopes. I had never heard of this scope and so, quite naturally, I was a bit skeptical. So I looked into it and to my great surprise, this scope had every single feature of the Vortex at 1/3 the price! How is that possible? We all know that in the firearms business you get what you pay for, but this scope makes a liar out of that time-worn maxim.

I couldn't be happier with this scope. Its optics are brilliant, its reticle sharp, its controls intuitive and easy to use, and the power adjust ring does not require an after-market device just to turn it. I recently leaned my rifle up against the wall using the bipod. When I accidently knocked it over, all 9 pounds of my Savage 10 FCP-SR 308 fell on top of the scope. Well, to make a very long story short, the scope didn't even lose zero.

If you want the Vortex Viper, then buy it because it is an awesome scope. But if you don't buy this one instead you're just plain dense.
