I own both the previous version of HP and this one, and I have to say the electronics upgrade offers an amazing sound quality! I normally wear these for outdoor shooting, and I use them in Mode 1 (ANR). For indoor shooting, I use either Mode 2 (ANC) or Mode 3 (ANR/ANC) as the percussion of shooting indoors requires better NRR. That's the whole reason for the three modes; to customize your hearing protection / ambient noise levels based on the environment.

I'm also a fan of the adaptive suspension! I have the Team Wendy mounts for these, and I can switch from over the head to the helmet mounts in just a few minutes.

They're also made in the USA, which is not something you'll find in other manufacturers. They have a very responsive customer service group. An actual phone number that someone answers and an email the gets a reply within 24hrs.

A great buy for the price, and a great upgrade from previous versions!
