Sweet for an AR-10
Written on May 24, 2018
I bought this scope for my AR-10. I am a hunter and wanted to reach out for better distance specifically for hog hunting, though if an opportunity arose that a trophy buck appeared, I did not want to miss an opportunity. Both happened with success. The scope performed well in the breaking morning sun rays and the low light of legal shooting time. At morning light, this scope gave me clarity to harvest a hog at 138 yards. It dropped another at low-light of dusk at 180 yards. At 128 yards, this scope was right on for a 10-point south Texas buck.
It was easy to dial in. It is easy to focus and most importantly for me as a hunter, it is great in low light conditions and spot on target. I wish flip caps came with each Vortex scope. Especially at this price.
It is a great scope for an AR-10. It is quality.

Great holster

Bianchi 111 Cyclone Hip Holster
I bought this holster for my S&W Model 29 4" barrel. I purchased it from Optics Planet for two reasons. First I knew what I wanted and the local stores could not beat OP's price on this holster. Secondly, the holster fits the revolver snuggly. The strap needs a little work because it is so stiff out of the package to snap, but once it is broken-in I'm sure I'll be real happy with it. I like the classic look with the Model 29 in a thick protective leather holster. Worn this while hunting in the mountains out west. It protected my gun from the scratches of trees and high thorny brush. The leather is thick and durable. It's a good product. Get one or two.

Compact Addition to your PPQ M2 That Can Build Shooting Confidence
Written on Dec 04, 2015
I attached this Red Laser to my PPQ M2 and it fits nicely. I like the compact size so there is no weight issue at the end of the barrel of the gun. I got it for my wife to help with her accuracy in a quick shooting situation. She has improved her shooting skills.
Get it.
Get it.

Sturdy Mount
Written on Nov 06, 2015
I am a research guy. I enjoy seeking the best products for my purchase. I want to make sure that I am purchasing quality and reliability. This mount has both. It is holding my Vortex Strike Eagle scope on my AR and it has been a solid hold after shooting at the range. I like that Leopold is made in the USA so if there is anything that goes wrong with this product, it should be an easy contact to engage a real person.

So Far It Is Steady
Written on Oct 12, 2015
After looking through a number of mounts, I decided on this one over the Vortex because of two factors. One was because it was made in USA, the other was receiving bad reviews and this mount received favorable reviews. I have it mounted on a new AR-15 and it has been steady. I only have about 100 rounds through the rifle since setting the mount and scope. I like the fact it only has a few screws to tighten and that it is not bulky. I think mounts should be sturdy but not overbearing on a gun or scope.
