Lycan Breath from United States, FL Public Profile

I found this laser/light combo because I purchased a steiner tor fusion. Made for pistols, but I wanted somethimg compact for a .300 blackout pistol, I built. The steiner tor fusion SUCKED! So I returned it, thank you Optics!
The streamlight is a bit bigger, but still small enough for my AR pistol. I mounted it, sited it in, and the windage and elevation were functional and seemed stiff enough that they will hold zero. Only rounds and time will tell.
But so far the light is very bright. The laser is great clearing rooms in my house during the day. Outside it can disappear on black targets in extreme sunlight (Florida) from a distance, Splatter targets that show ur shot. But as soon as you move it around you see it very easily. The switch is ok. I turned it on a few times putting it away in a back pack I keep it in, luckily I saw the laser shining through.
I would recommend this light/laser to anyone for a home defense pistol or AR set up for home defense. I like it so far!

I was excited to find this little laser/light made by Steiner. I've always heard they made decent products and I own a pair of steiner binoculars that I liked.
I wanted it for a compact AR pistol I built. I mounted on the under side of the rail, since it was designed for pistols.
The manual says its sighted in at the factory, but may need adjustments depending on the weapon.
Long story shorter, the laser is way off. I end up shooting at the target from about 8' away and have the leverage screw backed out so far its about to fall out, and its still shooting 6"" high. Wich from that close, I could live with if I had to and just aim low. But the adjustment screw at that point is backed out so far and loose its gonna fall out from the recoil.
Im very disappointed with this steiner product. I guess I should have listened to the review of the guy who had the same issue and had to pay to send it to Steiner to be repaired and is still waiting for it to be repaired and returned.
