This is an amazing sight. Small, light and sleek on my Mossberg 500. I was looking for a red dot for turkey hunting. I tried a Vortex Spitfire, Monstrum Raven and a Truglo Gobble Stopper. The Vortex and Monstrum, while good sights, all sat to high and would require a raised cheek rest. Plus they were heavy. The Gobble Stopper was a contender and fantastic in all respects other than it too would require a raised cheek rest. I wanted the Gobble Stopper to be the one but when the Williams LRS came and I installed it. I knew that it was the one. I mounted it on the Williams adapter for my shotgun and it sits perfect. No cheek rest needed. I get a great weld. The segmented circle dot is spot on for turkey hunting. This sight is a little more expensive than some but not as expensive as others. Do a google search on the Williams LRS and find videos. You will not be disappointed.

I got this to go with the LRS sight. At first I installed the sight on my pic rail and with the Mossberg 500, I felt I would need a cheek riser to get a good view. I took off the pic rail and added the Williams adapter and BINGO! Perfect cheek weld and clear view through the sight. Additionally, the Williams adapter is sleek an takes up less of footprint versus the pic rail. The mounting screws fit perfect.
