Underrated
Written on Aug 20, 2026
Ok, this is not a 7075 aluminum. But the build quality is very good! I was a little concerned because of some reviews talking about the fit and finish. Some of them even looked like they got the wrong size rings in their box? Or maybe they just ordered the wrong mount on accident? That was not the case with me. The finish is great, the fit is flawless on the scope and the rail. 4 locking lugs well machined. This thing is solid. I haven’t tested it yet but I’d be shocked if it didn’t hold zero cause the fit was so perfect. If you’re looking for a budget mount that won’t break the bank you found just found it.

Not the most versatile sidecar but great for the money.
Written on Mar 19, 2025
This is a leather backed kydex holster. It is a one piece design unlike many of the sidecar holsters you will find that are hinged in some way. This makes this holster very rigid. you may or may not like that. I thought when I purchased this you could move the clips further out but that isn't possible. Also I would have like to have the spare mag lower in the waist band but as you can see by the pics there is no way to do that. I have one actual qualm with this holster and that is, in the picture, the magazine is oriented in a way that would naturally put the mag in the correct position to reload, but in actuality the mag is designed to be inserted in the opposite direction which requires you to turn it 180 degrees before reloading. This is kind of a big deal and the picture is misleading. Other than that, the holster is very good quality. The leather is SOOO thick! The fit is great and retention is adequate.

High Speed Gear HSGI Better Inner Belt
This belt is really great quality. The magnetic closure buckle is very smartly designed. super durable. plays well with my outer belt as well. Wish I Had gotten a size up. I'm a 34" waist and I should have gotten the 36-40".

Perfect fit

Review for
Vertx Commuter 22L Backpack
I wanted a slim bag to carry a 7.5 300blk pistol. Nothing with molle, camouflage, or anything tactical looking at all. The 300blk fits in there with a little room to spare along with a Glock 19 and a silencer for the 300blk. The vertx accessories are really well thought out. The bag material is not the best I’ve ever had but certainly very durable and should last a long time. The strap is nice. The padding is great. The rapid access zipper pull is genius, especially the way it works to sling around the bag and open it in one motion. The whole package is very unassuming. I highly recommend.

The best for concealed SBR carry

Review for
Vertx Commuter 22L Backpack
Fits my 7.5” 300blk folder like a glove. And still plenty of room for a full size Glock, medical and a laptop and normal edc. The fast access zipper works as advertised. I expected the material to be a little more robust. It appears to be thicker and more durable than a normal jansport backpack but not as robust as a premium backpack. The strap is very good! Maybe the best/most comfortable I’ve experienced. Clearly designed for the unobstructed removal of your firearm from the bag. I have sbr carried in a normal backpack but this bag makes it so much faster to deploy. The accessories are really well designed as well.

easiest way to compensate for gas
Written on May 24, 2024
I just bought my second bootleg BCG. Even though I have an adjustable gas block on my 7.5 300 blackout. I have to take the suppressor off to adjust the gas block between supers and subs. Also, my 14.5 Geissele super duty is gassed perfectly until I put a silencer on. I don’t want to replace the pinned gas block because it’s rocksolid. So the bootleg BCG lets me bleed enough gas off to where I’m not putting excessive wear on a gun I love.

Fires without fail
Written on May 13, 2024
My old firing pin finally bit the dust. I don't have an actual round count but on my last trip to the range I had misfire after misfire. I'd put the same rounds in another pistol and they worked fine so I replaced my firing pin. I did a little polishing on this guy and it works perfectly. It's definitely a heavier pull than my old worn-out striker and spring but that's to be expected with a new trigger vs and trigger that's so worn that it refuses to fire consistently. I see a lot of negative reviews on this and other striker/spring (s) because they increase trigger pull. Unless you're buying a "performance/ competition" product you should expect duty/reliability performance. It'll break in

The quietest 22LR
Written on Mar 10, 2024
This ammo is notably more quiet than other subsonic rounds that I use. It is certainly “backyard quiet” however when people say “it probably won’t cycle your semi autos” they are accurate. These are the only sub rounds that won’t cycle my Ruger charger (8” barrel) with a SilencerCo sparrow. With that said with all the other sub 22 ammo I shoot, while it’s very quiet, there’s still just the tiniest snap. With this CCI Quiet-22 it’s all gone! It just turns your semi autos into bolt guns. But if you’re looking for absolutely zero sound signature, this is the ammo for you.

Great Charging Handle!
Written on Feb 07, 2024
Review for
Geissele Super Charging Handle
I got two of these, one in DDT and on in BLK and I can honestly say they are my new favorite charging handle now. Massive improvement over mil spec! But even a step up from many other "Upgraded" charging handles. These slide smoothly through the upper, and even when pulling off angle they seem to be super rigid and smooth. The actual latch is very strong. Pulls on both sides of the handle produce instant unlock of the latch, good grip, and smooth action. I have zero complaints with this product. I use these in a 14.5 geisellle super duty and a 7.5 300blk build. And I have perfect operation/performance of the SCH in both.

It's asking swivel. What else do you want to know?
Written on Jan 10, 2024
It works. Not much to it. Not sure why you'd be reading a review on a sling swivel. Probably the same reason I'm writing one. Using this on my Geiselle super duty with a vickers sling. I mean, these are barely more than the cheap Chinese ones on amazon so why not go with a reputable American gun company. Good luck to you!
