This is my second Radian raptor charging handle. I will likely put them on all my ar's. They are very strong and smooth operating. They may be the best charging handles on the market in my opinion. Once you have one you wont want to run a milspec charging handle again. They look great to boot.

The magazine release is disappointing in two ways. Its glossy black and the button is too smooth. I dont want shiny and overly slick controls on my ar. I should have sent it back. I m not putting it on the gun i planned on.

I initially bought a BCM upper receiver and upon inspection it was an obvious blem with discoloration and rub marks. BCM is supposed to have some of the best quality control so I dont understand how it could have made it out the door as a new part. I returned it and received a new upper which has rub marks where the charging handle latch attaches to the upper as if it had been a demo. This is a relatively small issue and I did not return it as no other issues were found, but the fact of the matter is, I paid for a new upper and dont feel that I recieved one. It was a hassle of having to wait while the first one was shipped back and then processed before a "new" one could be sent out. I am not concerned about having scratches or blems as my guns will be used, however when I pay for a new part I want one that is new. This rating is a combination of the first and second BCM uppers I recieved. I cannot recommend this product but I am not sure if it is a BCM or Optics Planet issue.
