Great Binos
Written on Aug 22, 2026
My first pair of binoculars in like 20 years and I’m very impressed. I got these primarily as a LRF and it’s very accurate, fast on its reads and when you have it setup correctly, calls elevation and wind very accurately for you. I find it a bit more stable to work with binos than a plrf. Good glass, excellent build, easy to use and easy to setup on the app.

Excellent Spotting Scope

Review for
Bushnell LMSS2 8-40x60mm Spotting Scope
I used one of these recently in a long range marksmanship course I took and they had selected these as the defacto standard for the kind of spotting scope they actually use in the field. It’s form factor makes it easy to transport, it was built to be rugged because Bushnell was trying to win a military contract with its design, it’s got picatinny rails for mounting accessories like LRF or optics, the glass is nice, and it’s got a tremor 4 reticle so it’s extremely accurate and symbiotic for the spotter to be able to make precise calls in mils. Just all around great, rugged, and very practical compared to many in the same price range. There’s no better version than this so for me the only thing that holds it back a little bit is the max magnification.
