If you are looking for the best gas mitigating charging handle, this is a good one. Is it the best? Maybe, but it’s definitely not ambidextrous which is the only con I have. I have the radian raptor sd and that works ok as well. No charging handle eliminates gas to the face completely when suppressed. But if you need a non ambi charging handle that looks clone correct, this is awesome.

Used it for mounting my PRI mk12 style barrel nut. Worked perfectly for me. There are little circular marks on opposite sides to help align the barrel nut holes to the gas tube hole. That helped me immensely. I was fortunate enough to be able to align my nut while keeping within torque specs without the need for shims. It’s not expensive for a tool, but sadly will probably only be a one time use for me. I don’t foresee myself building multiple ar10s.
Mk12 Clone Build

I needed this for my mk12 308 build. It’s sitting on a criterion 308 barrel. Looks perfect. If you have an aero m5 receiver, you’ll need the Armalite version, not the dpms. Seems counter intuitive but I confirmed with PRI prior to purchasing. Came with a gas tube pin as well.

Precision Reflex DPMS Carbon Fiber Forearm
Received this handguard quickly from optics planet. It’s exactly what I want/need to build out my mk12 mod 0 inspired ar10. Purchased in FDE, no scratches, and a perfect match for my aero m5 receivers. For the price I wish it came with either the barrel nut wrench or at least the collar tightening tool. Both were purchased separately. This is my first ar10 build, so I needed a barrel nut wrench. I just purchased the one from PRI. Lockup is solid. Can’t wait to finish this project.
Great stock for precision.

This is a fantastic stock. If you like to use a rear bag for support, this stock is great. It has a pretty good lock up with minimal wiggle. Looks great. Will buy again when I need another.

Noveske Lo-Pro Gas Block 5.56 Barrel
I used the Noveske 14.5 afghan barrel for my first AR build. A little pricey but worth it if you factor in the gas block, gas tube and pins. Used Black Hills mk262 77 gr OTM rounds and got an amazing 1/2 inch group. Couldn’t be happier. Installation was a bit of a pain. The gas block uses a set screw and dowel pin to hold in place. It…is…a…tight…fit. My pin came with some coating on it. I had to polish it off and take some fine sandpaper to the pin. Even after that, heating the gas block and leaving the pin in the freezer, it was still a very tight fit. But eventually got it on. Bomb proof. If you’re looking to squeeze the most accuracy from an AR, I think these barrels are amazing!

Magpul Industries M-LOK Hand Stop Kit
Bought two of these handstops for my rifles. I use more finger and grip strength to pull the rifle into my shoulder, and less palm pullling, but either can be done comfortably. I’ve found this grip to be grippy and aesthetically pleasing. Will buy again when I need another without hesitation.
