Vortex Crossfire II 6X24x50 mm
Written on Feb 16, 2024
For the money this is one of the better scopes out there for what I'm using it for. I've got it on a CZ Pro Varmit .22 to shoot 50 yd .22 targets and the occasional squirrel on the bird feeder. Yes, 24 power is a little much but I'm shooting at a 3 mm target at 50 and 100 yds and need to see the strike of the round. The glass is clear and parallax is much closer than most - can get down to almost 10 yds. For the price and light usage (i.e. caliber) I don't think you can go wrong. I don't think I'd put this on a heavier caliber hunting rifle - i.e. a 300 WM similar or even a .308/270, don't know if it would hold up but maybe it would - can't say. This is my second for a small caliber. Have one on .17 CZ and have made shots out to 197 yds with precision.
