Great alternative to S&W mags

Written on Aug 01, 2026

Works flawlessly and much more affordable. I’ve had about 500 rounds through one and no issues.

Works great in my S&W FPC

I was hesitant at first, but then tried anyhow because F paying $45+ for similar capacity Smith & Wesson magazine.

Works flawlessly with my S&W FPC 9mm. Looks kinda ugly compared to the other mags, but range time isn’t a fashion show.

Good at the $200 pricd point

Solid construction. The side-loading battery is a big plus. Crisp, visible dot in normal lighting conditions. Only complaint is that the dot washes out in bright sunlight - could benefit from being able to increase the brightness.

Fit issues / bulky

Written on Jun 30, 2026

Challenging to get onto a milspec buffer tube. Had to shave out some polymer bumps and imperfections for this to seat properly. Cheek riser is awkward and uncomfortable.
Kinda bulky… can’t tell any reduction in recoil (installed on BCM AR15).

At this price, there are better options.

Excellenr upgrade

Dropped into an Extar EP9 - simple install and works flawlessly.

Good range targets

Small enough to roll up and fit in a range bag, large enough to give you a few bullseye options at distance.

constant feed problems

Written on Jun 30, 2026

Constant feed performance on any magazine fed guns. Every other round jammed or would not feed (Ruger 10/22, Walther P22, Henry 22, Taurus TX22)

Acceptable performance on revolvers, still a light fire strike about every 10 rounds (S&W K22, Ruger sp101)

There are better options at this price point.
