My original purchase was May 2019. The case had thick batting and the stitching was quality. The Bob Allen emblem stitched on the side. I had used the case often for five years for my 590A1 mossberg. I recently purchased the same Bob Allen rifle case for a 940 tactical with 18.5 inch barrel. The size color and stitching was almost the same. The batting was noticeably thinner which is why I gave this case 4 stars. The filler material is made of cotton and the outer material feel like canvas for both cases. The emblem is now a patch instead of the white thread stitching. The rivets appear the same quality but the D rings and zippers of the recent purchase feel cheaper in quality. The material sewn to the D ring also is a thinner material. The earlier purchase is from china while the recent purchase is from South Korea.
I bet someone who purchased this item 20 years ago had better materials.
